if not the planet… I haven't ridden anything more gnarly.

Holy crap. With J-Rig saying that I don't even want to ride it!

See when I see that I think to myself "who's the sick bastard that decided that should be a trail?" Now I know. Guess I got some improving to do.

Ditto! I briefly entertained the fantasy of tackling it on my SS hard tail (the video is pretty inspiring!), but this J-Rig gnar ranking of #1 has now placed it on the "whatever - don't go near it" list. :D

I would put Bowen Island as #2 for gnarly steeps and #1 for gnarly skinnies.

I`d almost agree with you but for me Bowen had scarier steeps.

The Swallower had my eyes as big as saucers!

Now i'm really really excited…
I didn't think it got much steeper then "the monster" in kaslo, but maybe i'm wrong.

that video doesn't showcase half the sphincter pucker that trail has!

And big props to Jinya for showing us how to hike up the trail to get to it! Nice work man!

Sounds to me like s[HTML_REMOVED]m is a walk in the park in comparison.

funny, that trail almost looks reasonable on video. don't think i'd ride it on a hardtail.

My thoughts exactly. The vid really tames it down.

The Monster up in kaslo is definatly steep , the kind of steep that you have to get off your bike and cool down the rotors….. BUT the steep gnar chutes and faces on Tresspasser are more scary and have higher danger factor than what is found on the monster . (minus the exposed death cliff on riders left near the top of the monster)
