Earlier this year I was invited to document the 2012 Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival on behalf of the Jamaica Tourism Board. Read on in Part I of my documentation…
Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival - Part I
Not sure about the barbed wire and spiders in the tourism video, but there you are!
Matt's job isn't to sell you on Jamaica though. He wants you to see it through his eyes.
Awesome eyes Matt! Loved it.
Great work Matt! Makes me want to pack my bags and head to Jamaica.
Matt, you need a photo of yourself with a big grin, as of right now you might not be fitting in:
The photo's and video are amazing, very very nice work. I'm always blown away by the high quality of everything you put out. Jamaica looks like a great time and I can't wait to see more of the riding.
Also, couldn't rule one be "always set up your bike tubeless so it will fix itself and you don't need to bum tubes"?
Great job brings back good memorys I have from my trip there I think you did a great job at showing what Jamaica is all about.
great way to represent Jamaica mon. I hope you all come back and ride again

Wow! Thanks for posting this. I visited the west coast of Jamiaca on a family vacation with my inlaws. Unfortunately, they were of the mindset that Jamiaca is dangerous and we shouldn't leave the resort grounds. I knew this was false and I was very curious to see some local attractions which I had heard about, but I wasn't paying for the trip so I went along with the crowd. I've always wanted to go back on my own and explore more of the island, check out more local culture, and ride some of their trails. Seems like Fat tire festival is a good time to go, but I'm betting room rates are higher that week.
