Gwin won yet again in this past weekend's World Cup DH but Seb's certain someone's hot on his tail.

UPDATE: Great video from DirtTV added at the bottom of the article.

Who's that guy?

Nice write-up Seb. Minnar is holding things steady as it seems. Truth that Sam is closing in fast and gaining form, it'll be a test of fitness for him to get to the top 3 I am thinking, since that seems to be what is setting the crowd up top apart from the rest, between Gwin, Minnar and Atherton you've got the three strongest, fitted guys out there. Hart is smaller by stature in comparison but is talented and wirey in balance. I think if anyone … it might be Sam. IMHO he has a lot of skill and passion to ride, but it seems as though he is catching up on the fitness. We'll see. This is cool.

Great write-up!

These articles/stories have have really got me interested in following the WC DH races.
I am keenly anticipating the next race and results followed by another fine story from Mr Kemp to continue the plot!

Ya great summary man.

Tons of great riders in the top 20. Would be a great battle if Gwin wasn't there but he is and is there to stay for a long time I think. Not to sure what else his competitors can do at this point. Couple of years ago I though it was going to be a great future for some of the young guns that were coming up. I sure hope they get there chance to shine some time soon like Hart did. I am still looking forward to watching the rest of the races.

I'd love to see Hill make it to the top step again… but I don't think it will happen unless Gwin crashes in finals.

It'd also be great to have more than 7 rounds. AMA Supercross has 17 rounds before the riders switch to outdoor for the summer.

DirtTV just put out a great recap video from the Finals, which is now embedded at the bottom of the article.

Any hopes for Marc Beaumont? What about Stevie?

Seems like smaller riders like Hart or Brosnan just don't have the power to win on the pedally courses. I thought Gwin was riding on Minions, but I think he uses Bontragers.

Sweet writeup Seb, Pretty sure one of those moto crashes got Gwin a full bionic rebuild
