at an off the charts year. Much good riding, great trips and smiles all around.

I need to find someone to ride with this year. Riding alone ftl.
where's the mug?
i need to find more time to ride this year. nice work, dan.
Nice. Love reading these kinds of articles.
Looking back, I had a great year too…one of my most ride filled dispite a few nagging injuries that made things challenging. I don't think I've had a year where I spent so much time on so many different bikes…over 4,000 KMs on the road bike, about 75 XC rides, about 70 days on the BMX track. Lots of days on 2 different bikes. The DH bike only got 6 days of love, so that's one area I need to give more to in 2010.
One thing I want to do is document it all a bit better. Dean W does this w/ his blog…I'll probably try something like that too. As he says, something he can show the grandkids.

yeah danny boy! this year, we also will be killing it!
Power high-fives! WAPOW
Yep 2009 was epic in terms of riding that's for sure. I was err… fortunate…enough to ride the EI pony from February to November and rode a ton!
Here's to the 2010 season that's already started!
Nice write up and stellar pics Dan!
My 2009 was pretty epic too - more to come on that soon…
where's the mug?
omg I have the mug! I totally forgot. Someone come get it? I've run out of inspiration….
Dan Dan Dan…..so many good times, we love you! Thanks for letting my baby daughter poop on you so I could get some laps in up Whistler and at Mt. Washington!
on an unrelated note - you made my year at Dunner and Layne's wedding……you are a wildman!
Nice work, Dan. Totally invite yourself along again anytime you want.
You can all go to hell. I'll be joining you shortly and I'm bringing beer and cheetos.
Good stuff. Love it.
Wow, say this 10 times fast ;) - "I attended Jordie Lunn's Fresh Air contest (Media-not rider), Rocks, Roots and Reggae Rocky Mountain Customer Appreciation at Mount Washington, Hood River for an arcticle with Dan Barham and Dave Smith, Crankworx, approximately half the Dh BC Cups, AIRprentice 2009, Full Boar Challenge, rode the Whistler Bike Park 20 times, and I co-organized the Seymour Smackdown here in North Vancouver."
Nice! When it's what you love time just flies by as you have fun.
I have no filter …
Such a nice read! I really enjoyed it. I did some riding myself, not as much as you did Dan, but still - good times.
We need more articles like this - stuff that makes us think about the good times and the things we have achieved and how our souls glowed when we were reflecting about such beautiful stuff.
Killer pictures and great writing. Sweet. May your 2010 be even better.
