What can make up for the training you didn't do this winter?

New gear of course.

Gear Ring is neat. If I wore jewelery I'd be all over it

Why slag free swag?

I'd buy that if it made as much noise as a ringle hub… except it'd be awfully disruptive during meetings…

actually that sounds like a good plan now that I think of it… meeting cancelled because of concerns over angry wasps buzzing around

All you need for riding is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure.

Urge looks similar to the 661 Recon BMX lid, or does the Urge cover more along the back of the head…?

I wanted the giro type helmet for ages but it breathed too well, and seemed pricey. If I was still riding I'd be all over that urge, that ring is neat. pricey, but neat.

i had a semi for winter riding and commuting, worked well. cracked now, and i don't think they still make it? like the look of this one, but as the article notes they're not yet available on this side of the pond and honestly the the low back-end of the semi often interfered with my backpack, so i'm over it

^^ Giro semi here too. It never really fit me that well, I always wished it had the same retention system that the Zen and Hex have.

and speaking of wishes, couldn't they make kneepads that open like armor? It seems ridiculous to have to pedal up with them on, or take your shoes off to slide them on.

That Urge helmet looks hot. I have always rode with a Bell Faction dirt lid. The Faction has more vents and its stoopid warm in the summer. # days ago I bought a proper XC lid and am digging how cool it is.
