awsome article :) i wish we had trails with that kind of scenery around where i stay. looking forward to the next article :)

Was also wondering what the slayer SS is like. ive had a look for review on the usual places (not sure if im allowed to list websites on here so i wont) cause im considering buying one as im moving over to Norway in a month or so time. Any chance the author ( i had a look but ur name isnt included in the article) or anyone else could shed some more light on how it handles FR/DH wise.

Thanks again.

Fraz

The Slayer is a tight little ride. It does everything: DH/Freeride/all-mountain. The Slayer is a great all around bike. I'll be posting about my ride sometime in the near future.

Nice!

What does your Slayer weigh Eamonn?

Altitude kills me too. No rush…

Best to acclimatize for a week or so before hitting the high country.

Sharon,

Not sure what my Slayer weights? Mid 30's I'm guessing. I don't have her built up super light.

A week to acclimatize would have been perfect, but we were on a tight filming schedule…oh, the pain. Let[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s just say that I'm happy to be back at sea level!

the good thing about riding at altitude is that you get a great cardio workout while your quads are still chillin

Eamonn, what brand is the telescopic seat post on the slayer?
I'm looking for one with off set, which I haven't found yet.

Is the footage aired on the net somewhen?

Not sure about the seat post, and I'm not sure when the show will air on TV, probably in a few months?

I rode some fun stuff up around there and Telluride but I can't recall the names.

Hermosa Creek, that was one of them

Sounds like the 'bike park' in Sun Valley.

Fun XC DH ride. They've still got a long way to go for sure.

Trails there look about as buff and smooth as Sun Valley!
