I don't understand why it's so acceptable to ride like this in video's and then expect others to ride not slide. Kid's watch pro's riding like this and and try and emulate it on every corner. I see it more and more on pro vids these days, bugs the heck outta me!

It's really unfortunate to see professional mountain bikers being irresponsible with trail etiquette. Just because they're "pros" doesn't give them the right to slide down trails, powerslide through berms, or braid trails. Even if they do contribute to trail maintenance, just think of how much less work would need to be done if everyone rode responsibly. Despite that these actions may look "cool" on film, they send the wrong message to kids (and even adults) who watch, and then go out the next day and repeat what they saw on the video.
