There are some great laughs in this crazy carpet of a dh race chute. Some riders even opt to take it sitting down.
Crash Vid - DH from South Korea. Best Ever?
Jebus, did anyone make it down with both feet on the peddles?
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
I don't think so… I think only 3 or 4 people made it down that section without going down. The irony is that the guys I know that were there are actually really good riders, so seeing them humbled like this (much to my amusement) gives a pretty good idea of just how sketchy that chute must have been.

Muju resort now runs bike park during summer? o man, I remember the last time i was there for winter… sometime back in mid 90's i was a kid and my whole family used to take a trip down and stay there for a week and ski.
Muju has a track but they don't really open up as a park for the full summer. They just host a round of the Korean National DH Series. The only park that does open for the full summer is Jisan, which is about an hour east of Seoul. It's only small, but it's cheap and accessible, and is a nice break to our regular Saturday shuttles.

Daegu has a super-passionate riding scene. I haven't managed to get down there myself (despite a friend of mine's regular encouragement), but the city is surrounded by mountains and apparently the descents are some of the best in Korea. Looking forward to heading down there towards autumn when the weather starts to cool down a bit.

lol, awesome vid.
What's most funny is that the run was clear and awesome for the Pro, Expert, and women's classes, then the sky opened up for the noob class that was run last.
Craig wore Slowlar's GoPro for his run in noob class… waiting to see his whole run.
Pros and experts were putting up times in the 3:50-4:50 range, then the rain hit and the noobs were clocking 12:00-16:00 times while everyone else got drunk and laughed at the course shenanigans. :)
The best things in life all start with the letter B
Hooray for: Bacon, Bikeys, Boobies, Boards, and Beer!
Reminds me of a recent race I was in at Ae in Scotland. Dry all week and then the heavens opened for the practice day and then again on race day
 both Korean and Scottish videos are awesome!
Mmmm….soiled pyjamas.

wow you are a ass
I'd like to see how Atherton or Sam Hill would do on a slimy hill like that. (Suggestion to those Scots…put your seat down when tackling steeps.)
