On the Caribou bikes website Stefan Stark is identified as their engineer.
they seem to be primarily bike frame subcontractors (though they've got their own line of bmx frames). interesting their list of clients includes rocky [HTML_REMOVED] norco; proto work, perhaps?
Pretty sure Rocky does all their prototypes in-house.

It appears the Hustler is a Caribou-Bikes Ibex frame that has been modified.

It's name isn't really the 650bj guys. That's a slightly torn and bent C sticker stuck on the stay to be funny. I like to reinvent Bike co stikers so they say Cookie and them stick 'em on my bike but that doesn't make it a signature model.

RE: Cove Bike Names
Take a cove G-Spot or STD out for a few rides. 3 or 4 rides later, you won't care about the name.
Their bike names have never been a selling point for me though. Their floating pivot bikes are just awesome/fun/tough.

I rode one of the earlier demo bikes. A few weeks later I tried a SC Bronson. I remember liking the Hustler more. But that could be due me not being used to the ride characteristics of a Carbon Frame , also the Hustler had a 67.5 HA when I rode it which I thought was much better suited for the shore.
Minions are now available in 27.5 so maybe a redo of both demos is in order.
I mainly ride a cove G-Spot. Its a super fun little bike. If cove ever made a 27.5 carbon version of that bike, I wouldn't need to visit the Intense/Santa Cruz/Pivot websites anymore.
I ride a Cove Stiffee XC, its a light hardtail frame which is actually really, really stiff - power transfer from the pedals is great (little energy lost to flex) so you can go uphill and up things like a demon.
I see LL's got a vid of one being rode Squamish I think did he ever post a review?

65 is too slack for anything but downhill, that would be more for the G spot. The Hustler is more of a trail bike that actually likes to go up hill. Riding steep ups with a bike at 65 deg sucks.

Completely agree with you IFO. Who really cares what they call the bike (I think its hilarious) Cove bikes are some of the best riding bikes around IMO. I would ride a bike called the fudgepacker if it rode well. (insert a "that's what she said" here)
