scott bikes got it backwards… on weight
pretty sure that bike weighs 42lb from memory. i had one to test as well during the summer.
still the write up is great. this thing takes square edge hits like ive never felt before. its rad.
:edit: when i weighed it it probably had dh tubes front and rear. it was probably the same bike, we had it about the start of september or late august for 3 or 4 weeks
Not everyone 'needs' a 35lb DH bike and there's a lot to be said for having a 40lb bike using modern technology that you can just beat the shit out of and not have to inspect it for damage after every crash.
treezz
wow you are a ass
I say it's hot. With the 2013 Gambler and Genius, Scott has finally made some bikes worth considering. Well done. Good review too.
How many different variations on single pivots does there need to be? At any rate I like the bike.
That seems very slack…
There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

This. Especially when you weigh 235lbs without gear on and are a hack like me.
My 40lbs Wilson feels bombproof.
Complaining about weight on a dh bike is lame. Nice write up, bike looks minty
Clunking is for retards.

Amen,I would love to try that bike.

Truer words have never been spoken. Gambler - most pivots on a single pivot bike award….
to me, not all that impressive.
Mike! Good read. I can't wait to try a gambler… definitely a bike to consider for next year. Also, take me to this trail nao.
