Rewoga got his mitts on a new Banshee frame - and then built it up with bits and pieces he found in the trash behind the bike shop.
Not really - but he did manage to scavenge things together efficiently.

Looks sick, congrats for snagging a deal on a great sounding frame.
I liked that there wasn't any ass kissing or making excuses, good honest review.
[g.nazi] You put "new" rather then "knew" in the early part of the article[/g.nazi]
Just because I like boys doesn't mean I want to go out with Mike.
looks kinda like the US version of the devinci wilson…pivot being on the seat stay. any one rode both the scythe and the wilson?

If you read carefully, you will see that I rode an '06 Ollie for a while before the Scythe came into my life. No comparison. Can't comment on a newer Wilson, but so far I am much happier with the Scythe especially as regards frame stiffness.
I am also the very proud owner of a new White Scythe and I could not be happier! Coming from an SX Trail (XL size frame) this bike is so much more responsive going down the steeps.
Thanks to the suspension wizardry of James I was able to reuse the odd lengthed shock from the SX on this new frame by just changing out the eye. Thanks James! Once again you save the day.
A little known fact about the Scythe is that you can also use a shorter shock 8.5x2.5" to get a lower BB and slacker HA with 6.4 and 7.3" travel settings. Compared to the 7 and 8" settings you get with the 8.75x2.75" shock.

that may be worth a try…

WOW I am sold. I will use my ROCO air TST from my frantik on this frame. this is the best new I have heard today.
Thanks
Dustin
I'm on the Scythe bandwagon too, fun bike!

Fantastic bike, thats all I can say.
Any changes beside the linkage on the new frames?
No major changes to the new frames other than them going to a 30.9mm seatpost diameter to allow more options. All other changes are little details for manufacturing to refine things slightly.

Interesting article.
Just out of curiosity, whatever became of that thing with Devinci regarding the Scythe.

Keep your weight weenie hands away from my bike! I like it the way it is - besides - it has to survive Mt Washington!!
