Yeah, I understand the shock and trauma that can follow an event, whether
there are resulting injuries or not. I don't think that recommending charges
is something that police do. I've been in such a situation where I've been
assaulted, asking the police for advice on pressing charges and the wouldn't
help me with info because they said they're not my lawyer. One, apparently has
to sometimes already know how to pursue charges in order to do so. It's
upsetting that they didn't attempt to pursue the lady who allegedly assaulted
her.
It can be quite frustrating and dejecting, especially following such an event.
It can, however, be done, especially with some support. There is no doubt that
the lady will be identified. Mt Fromme relatively is small, with a small
community.
