Anecdote comes to mind of a much more skilled rider hopping on my bike and immediately observing the rebound was too fast. Meanwhile I was bouncing on his, wondering how he could find any traction with such a sloooow return. I guess he is storing so much more energy in the spring than I am, that it works for him. I did add a couple clicks after that and noticed my bike felt more calm. He was right, but I still can't wrap my head around his setup for the varied riding he does (i.e. not _just_ hucks).
