West Sechelt are my 'home' trails and I wouldn't say the user conflict issue is a big problem. A lot of those trails were originally put in my moto/quad riders many years ago so the other trail users may not know it, but owe a lot to their efforts. There's not a ton of Moto traffic in there and most of it is transitory - there are a lot of great Moto trails higher up the mountain. There's a bit of trail degradation in a few spots but it's few and far between.
The regular Moto riders in there are very careful around other users and respectful in all the experiences I've had. You may have seen someone who wasn't as familiar with the local etiquette. For anyone wanting to check out the West Sechelt trails, it's unlikely you'll even see or hear a motorbike, but don't worry if you do. And don't hesitate to send me a note for trail recos and I'll show you around if I can swing it.
