" (and in many cases hand) operated throttles "  actualy while you can buy those bikes on Amazon the real LBS in canada  does not sell bikes with a throttle, the dealer i talked to said " we don't sell those because they are illegal in Canada " and those bikes not not end up on the trails,  they get ridden on the roads  so barry is  either lying or just wrong
