I agree that a static stiffness test isn’t the be all/end all for handlebars. However, I think it _could_ be a nice baseline to quantify performance if it could be standardized just a bit. I guess I’m just not interested in taking an “ignorance is strength” view on this type of thing.
What I thought was most interesting about the Faction testing was the Chromag bar comparison. The carbon 35mm was less stiff than the Al 31.8mm. Definitely counter intuitive!
