#!markdown In a typical winter I ride less though this winter has been an exception! I like having a bit of time off the bike to do other things and help prevent getting burned out. Alternate ways of training gives you the opportunity to do something physical in small time blocks you wouldn't use for riding. Mixing it up is good for your mind and good for your fitness. Being fitter in a broader way makes riding more fun, period.
