Call me crazy, but reading the review I thought this was going to be like $600
or more. For top of the line gortex, $450 seems pretty standard. I bought a
gore pro shell jacket 7 years ago and it's still going strong. Maybe not
necessary to have a really nice general use shell and a top of the line riding
one, but if you ride more than anything else, this seems like a good option.
