A low:high ratio of 4.67 for e.13 Vs 3.82 for shimano is a pretty decent gain
though don't you think. Assuming things were roughly equivalent in terms of
shifting function and durability (I'm on a limb, I know), adding in the cost
of the freehub to that of the cassette + derailleur + shifter might not be
that much of a stretch. As you say elsewhere here though, the cost of the e.13
cassette itself might be prohibitive…
