Interesting to hear your thoughts on washboard (corrugated) roads. The only thing I've noticed that improves that is chainstay length. Get ya rear wheel back and let the pressure down and you can "see-saw" over the bumps a little bit. I'm talking loooooong stays though, like cargo bike long. Below is my 29x3" Surly BFD. I rode about 11,000 km around Australia on it in 2021. With 875mm chainstays and a fully integrated rack it's an oddly perfect bike for that kinda riding. Stock 175mm Aeffects too ha!
