Tony: Bike magazin in Germany recently did a tire test, and I could sum it up as: compound matters most for rolling resistance, casing matters less. That’s a general statement, so a big jump in casing will matter more than a small jump in compound, but in general , it holds true.  For example, with Maxxis’ DHR II: Exo and Exo+ MTerra 29 W DD MTerra: 32 W DH Wirebead Dual: 36 W DH mGrip 50 W
