Great direct overview of the gear. I have the Speedframe and the 1st iteration of the proframe -the pads are prone to sweat soak as you say, but livable for me. What I do have issue with is that the velcro dots used to hold the pads to the MIPS frame tend to de-laminate. Fortunately they can be bought in bulk off of amazon.
I have the Ranger shorts as well, and find the single button likes to unsnap often enough to be a bother, and I don't have a big gut! Otherwise they are holding up well. I need to go back and look at mine to see if the built in cinch belt is going outside of the belt loop as it is in your pictures -strange to have that loop at all, even stranger to have the belt routed outside!
