You're not wrong. Especially in urban/commuter land, they tend to come with pretty garbage drivetrains (and brakes.) My Kona MSRP was like $6k+, and it was spec'd with Alivo and some awful Tektros. I'm still running the Alivo, but the brakes got swapped out with the gift of guides (TM Andrew).
I'm hoping this is a market where LinkGlide can fill a bit of a need.
