Wait. I hope this doesn't go this direction. In my book, the issues I raised
were purely editorial issues. The
editors alone are responsible for those choices, no matter how they
originated. Give the poor author a break. (And by the way I disagree with your
premise that if this was written by a woman then it obviates any criticism,
but whatever.)
