Shimano **[XT LinkGlide M8130](https://nsmb.com/articles/gambling-on-the-retrogrouch-shimano-xt-linkglide-m8130/)** is awesome to shift (under load and otherwise), uses an HG driver, and promises awesome durability. It’s absolutely worth checking out and given a cassette/der/shifter (the only LG parts) cost less than the cheapest Transmission cassette it’s certainly more relevant to more people.
I don’t think a cable-driven GX Transmission would be a LinkGlide killer but I’d certainly be keen to compare them. If SRAM could deliver the quality of cassette/shifting of Transmission to a GX price point.
