Since you briefly mention this in the article as well, and I enjoy reading your insights, I was wondering if you have put any thoughts on paper (articles/comments/threads) on mullets? Currently on a Krampus w/ angleset because I wanted to get out of retirement and onto a rigid bike, but feeling the constraints of the traditional geometry – Thinking about future frame and fork choices. Seems to me that taking a 27.5 hardtail and putting 29+ in the front would be one of the easiest ways to convert to rigid while maintaining geometry, without a custom frame and/or fork.
Not a huge fan of the aesthetics, but that rarely holds me back…
