Used to ride CBs on all my bikes for about a decade. Never had any major issues except for when the 'axle spring' broke which made the pedal useless and necessitated buying a new pair. Always seemed like a waste to me. Other than that there's good reason why so many WC riders use them: copious amounts of float and front, rear, side, you-name-it entry.
