I could not a gree more - I get a lot of C***** bikes and make them ride ready for customers. None of them is assembled properly (copy paste your list from above :-) ). Recently had a nearly 9k road bike in and it dropped the chain when shifted to the big chain ring at the front. Resulted in a scratched chainring and crankarm of a Dura Ace powermeter ;-)  setting everything up correct after that is just too late
