Nice remote with a good budget post is a great way to min-max a setup (same as an XTR shifter with a Deore drivetrain).
X-Fusion Manic or PNW Rainer Gen 3 with a WT ReMote are my favourites for the ease of Wintek cartridge swaps.
I believe your Brand X uses an IFP (same post as the RaceFace Aeffect)? They’re great until they aren’t. A couple years is solid.
