While the post itself is proud compared to other units, the bolts don’t extend any farther, at least as eyeball them.
I haven’t had to do it on one of my own post/saddle combos but I have had to trim bolts a number of times for customers. Always the forward bolt and usually for folks that drop their nose a lot (where my saddle is ~ flat). Not a big deal but otherwise contact is an issue.
