I don't think any level of back-to-back ride is going to sell teenagers on the practicality of a rigid fork over a suspension fork. Cool is cool, lame is lame.  I also again note that for the margin dollars in this case it doesn't make sense to fight for rigid SQ1 sales when the bike will move easily with the stock SR. Also, as noted elsewhere, the coil SQ fork is certainly more forgiving than a rigid Plus setup for riders who don't have a solid skillset.  I'd love for rigid to be the right choice here, but I don't think it is in the case of the SQ lineup.
