I never run bashguards. I occasionally make some unpleasant contact with chainring but usually on my eMTB. No issue with the rear brake hose yet. I have already swapped brakes though and it wasn’t a big deal once a hose is already in there. I have spent a good deal of time on both Da bar and the One Up bars and I haven’t been able to feel a difference between the two. I am very sensitive to overly stiff bars - possibly because I run mine at 750 or 760 - and both of these feel great to me.
