The big question (well one of them) is how much different is the force
required to exit these pedals versus standard clips? The weight issue could be
managed via smart pedal design layout as the model pictured is likely more
beefy than necessary. Then again most modern pedals are pretty easy to get in
and out of. I suppose not having cleats on your shoes would be nice though.
