The fit is very, very similar Scott. If you're going to remove the chin bar for long climbs then the DBX 3.0 is my favourite removable chin bar trail lid I've used. It's a great helmet. Compared to the Leatt with the chin bar installed the Kali is notably more breathable and also the improvement in hearing is excellent. I rode some of the hottest days we had on the Shore this summer with my full-face on climbing and descending. It's a trade-off compared to the Leatt on the longest, sweatiest, climbs. I personally think it's worth it to not have to faff with the extra latches, storing the bar, and etc.  Hope that's helpful!
