Well that's a very good and detailed response! And yeah, of course personal preferences make a huge difference here. Naturally the Isabeau example is tied to outright performance and what she wants out of her fork - at least on her race bike - is not what you or I are after. I don't race but I outweigh you by a fair bit. I love this new Lyrik on my Sentinel but I didn't feel the last one was a noodle at all - though I certainly feel the difference between both and a 38, which I prefer for a larger bike than the Sentinel. Horses for cours- er, saddles for horses? Anyway, you do highlight an issue I'm sure RS wrestled with, which is how to delineate btwn their big trail forks and what options to offer. In your case at least, I can understand the dilemma.
