DD out back was my default, but I thought I'd try the insert. I do like the damped feel (on the hardtail), but I kid you not, I actually broke my thumb getting the insert in on this bike! One of the reasons the writeup was a couple months late was because I couldn't ride to get photos due to broken thumb!
My plan is to run this tire down, and when it's time for a new one try a DD and compare.
