You wouldn't believe the fucking rain we've had in Sydney for the last 2 years... Or maybe you would coming from BC.
It's been a La Nina for the last two years running which means we haven't had a stretch of sun longer than 3 days in God know how long.
And when it rains it really freaking rains. We're talking over 100mm in a day. Literally having to empty out empty flower pots multiple times in one morning.
We have friends from Sweden, London and yes even Vancouver who have seen nothing like it. Even the beaches are taking a pummeling from all the extra erosion and the non-stop storm water runoff.
I almost can't wait for the next decade long drought to begin.
