I signed up after finding this article looking for info on using washers with kom tough.
I have been using them for gravel and touring with light ti mid weight loads. After 2 years I just noticed all my drive side spokes had cracks at the rim interface.
I'm trying to find what ti replace with but the i25 tough were perfect for my use until this.
How have these washers worked for you? Do you think this makes the kom tough notably stronger?
I'd heard good things about the halo vapour but at 21 internal its a little narrow for my preference but it would work OK. Plus I could go 36 if I wanted to.
Anyways, just wondering what the best washer woukd be for a kom i25 tough for piece of mind for a bike I use for extended regular travel.
