Good stuff. One of the appeals of carbon bikes for me is the repairability of them - lifetime product if you want. I've had a handful of alum bikes die at 4-5 years due to fatigue at several welds. Unless of course they're a 12lb frame, then alum tends to last. If I repaired my current trail bike, I'd maybe have them leave the patch clear coated. Show off those war wounds!
