Well it's actually from a distributor here in Australia - so no information other than the warranty has been approved.
Was a few months back - now that I re-look at the pictures it broke maybe an inch down from the pedal threads..... wish I could upload the pics for you.
And the cranks were less than 6 months old when it snapped.
