I've found that temp makes a modest difference, but altitude can add or subtracts a few PSI pretty easily. Set your pressure around sea level, then check at 1000m/3300ft you'll see a few extra PSI, even if it's colder up there. The pros and their wrenches definitely have this all charted out. Would definitely scratch the nerd itch to see the actual numbers.
