#!markdown In all honesty, I’m baffled by this article. What exactly are you trying to say here, Andrew? Are you calling out companies for not doing enough to make women’s models truly woman specific? Are you suggesting that women’s specific bikes shouldn’t exist? If the former, this may be a fair point, but is the best way to make that point to call out the companies that are actually making some kind of effort? I don’t know as much about Liv and Beti, but I’ve met some of the women behind Juliana and these are some passionate women that are doing a tonne of work to build the sport for women. Are there women that their bikes won’t appeal to? Could they do more to differentiate their product line? Can they do more, in general? For sure. But is this a deserving target of our mockery? Surely we can make these points in some other way. If the latter…I don’t even know what to say. I get it. It’s satire. But if your point is lost, it’s not very effective satire.
