My Race Face one mounts the ring the other way as well. This is the Cannondale/FSA model and off the top of my head, I was going to say it's a 4mm offset, although they don't list that as an option. I know in the case of the FSA/Cannondale cranks the orientation of the bolts depends on the offset of the spider.
