I think having a complete rupture was in my favour. Having it overlapped and stitched ended up giving it more strength. My surgeon said with the extra scar tissue it would be stronger than before. You should see the scar from the surgery though.  I hope all goes well for you Andrew. Embrace the pain! Cheers🍻
