Glad I came across your article as I am ready to pull the trigger on a Waltworks Fat/Trail bike. Every one of my custom frames has not gone well and I can objectively say to no fault of my own. This has been what's holding me back so it was comforting to read your situation was similar. Also liked what you had to say about tube selection. Like a customer really knows better than a frame builder. Walt provides amazing value for an incredible product and if he were to ever hang up his torch, there really isn't anyone else who does what he does in that price range.
