I watch a lot of pro surfing online, and one thing I love about the judging is
that it isn't rushed. they take the time to watch the wave, watch a replay,
then go back and watch replays of previous waves to compare it against before
they make their final score. I've always felt like in mtb events the judging
gets rushed because of the format and everyone is usually left with a bit of a
bitter taste in their mouths. Format/judging is a huge factor imo.
