Hey Chase I am usually a medium but at the higher range of most mediums as in 33 and most mediums seem to span 30-33 I have found. 7 Mesh shorts and pants seem to fit a bit big but these pants are not big just a small amount larger than most mediums. I would rather have pants a bit big than a bit small so I would recommend the mediums. Hope that helps.
