Tarin is releasing the Mugen (Spring-Summer 2021) which is so easy to maintain (it uses a quarter to as a tool to help take apart the driver/internals) and is cheaper.  Review coming NSMB? Onyx needs to fix the Vesper or end that line of products.  You simply cannot sell MTBers hubs at that price and have them turn to garbage in a matter of rides.  I have had the Onyx Classics for four years and serviced them once after three years of heavy use.  The Vespers on the other hand/wheel, less than 15 rides and the whole internals rusted out leading to the sprag clutch slipping under load.  Again not what I expected based on previous experience with the company or what I expect when I drop $500-$600 on a hub. Warranty claim is in and I am awaiting customer service reply.  So far the damage comes down to lost time, the cost of a set of bearings in the hubs and the fact that the damn things are laced to my brand new WR1 rims.
