From a suspension travel / performance perspective the Lux Trail is exactly what I'm for in a personal bike, and local trails are where I'd be riding it, so I think that's a fair set of circumstances to test the bike under? I'd love to try the same bike with a shorter seat mast, slacker HTA, and some different spec options - which I was obviously prepared to make as part of adapting a bike to local conditions - and my belief is that in that configuration it should be at least as enjoyable on the trails where my rigid bike is fun (to me). No doubt the OneUp is currently [**winning the dropper post arms race**](https://nsmb.com/articles/winning-dropper-post-arms-race/), but there's not way to get around the 505mm seat tube length here.
