Okay question time: which one actually has their slots farthest back? I was riding AM9s and picked up a pair of Rallys based on the slot being further back AND reports of ‘extreme comfort.’ Not loving them though and hoping those ME5s don’t do that stupid ‘it’s kinda for XC, let’s put the slots all the way forward!’ thing so many different manufacturers think is right. The Rally’s just feel a little pillowy, but somehow constricting and the stack height is higher than the AM9s which made them feel a little disconnected.
On a side note- how do you guys deal with riding different shoes that much?! Maybe I’m just picky but that’d drive me crazy.
